Returns and Exchanges


We want you and your dog(s) to be happy with our products. If, for whatever reason, you’re not happy with your purchase, you can return your order for a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date. The items returned must include the original packaging and must not have been used, washed or damaged.

We only accept returns of products that you’ve bought directly from us on our website, our Ebay store or our Amazon storefront. If you’ve purchased a Leashboss product from somewhere else, please contact that seller directly regarding their return policy.

Chewed leashes or items that have product issues or defects are handled differently than returns. Please see our Boss Promise warranty page for further details.

Item Condition Eligibility

We recommend opening and inspecting all products including long leashes indoors, or outside in an area where they won’t get dirty.

To be eligible for a full refund, the products must be new and unused. They must be clean which is why we suggest opening it indoors before taking it outside and using it.

When returning a long leash, wipe it off, roll it up, and put it back in the package.

How Do I Return Something?

Start by contacting us. Go to our contact page, fill out the form with your name, email address, Order Number, and a brief message about what product you want to return and why.

We’ll review your message and get back to you within 24 hours (usually sooner) to confirm your return eligibility and provide instructions for sending the items back to us.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


We get it, sometimes you aren’t sure what size or length of leash you need. If you find you’ve ordered the wrong size, you can exchange the product if it meets our return criteria as stated above.

Our exchanges work by returning the product and buying the new one. We recommend ordering the new product before you return the unwanted product so you get the new one quickly.

How long does it take to get my refund?

Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect your item and then process a refund. We’ll process the return within five business days. The credit back to your account can take an additional five business days, depending on your method of payment.

We’ll notify you via email when your return has been processed.

Please note, refunds do not include shipping costs paid on your original order (if applicable).
