Love this collar buttons

I love this collar but it’s missing a dedicated rung for dog tags. I love how reflective it is, it’s handle and weight but this is a major problem for me. I added a ring to the handle but am worried that I could catch my hand if I needed to do a quick correction. There isn’t another viable place to add a ring unless it’s added when constructed.
